Relegation threatened Hartlepool United have been taken over by a newly formed company, TMH 2014. The consortium is understood to be based in South Yorkshire.

One outstanding issue is the ownership of Victoria Park which the local council want to sell.   The club claim that the council is procrastinating over the sale, while the council say that the club has never made an acceptable offer.
