However, the asking price of £50m is too high for a club in a competion where it is difficult for a club outside the ‘Old Firm’ to break through, notwithstanding the present troubles at Rangers.  If one bought a club in the English Championship, there is always the chance of promotion to the Premier League.

The interview is ambiguous about whether the price might be reduced, but at least the possibility is not ruled out.   However, whoever bought the club, would be faced with the challenge of building a new stadium.
