"If you want some accessible but informative insight into football then I suggest you couldn't do better than the Political Economy of Football website, which is not only intelligible but comes with the added bonus of being written by Addicks fan Wyn Grant."

Koreans interested in Woking

Chankoo Sim, leader of Sportzen, a Seoul-based marketing firm, is one of a number of potential bidders interested in Woking.   The company were the first Koreans to invest in a European football club after acquiring Belgian second division side AFC Tubize in 2014.

The Laithwaite Community Stadium has great potential for development and 270 flats could be built around the ground.  It is believed that Woking Borough Council would be supportive of new homes, but obtaining planning permission could lead to a delay in any takeover.   It is hoped, however, that a deal will be completed by the end of the year.
