Alleged financial irregularities surrounding the Council loan have led to a police investigation.  Following a formal complaint from the Council, police served a warrant at the ground and removed files and computers.

Kelvin Thomas took over Oxford when they were facing administration and struggling at the wrong end of the Conferece.   He turned the club round and got them back into the Football League.
