West Ham United have decided to boost capacity at the Olympic Stadium from 54,000 to 60,000, such has been the demand for season tickets.
It will make the stadium the joint largest in London alongisde the Emirates. It will also rank second in the country in terms of capacity, behind Old Trafford.

West Ham claim that the capacity increase will boost returns to taxpayers. A decision is awaited on the appeal by the London Legacy Development Corporation against the decision of the Information Commissioner to require it to release the full terms of its deal with West Ham.
